It is 2098. The Moonbase program, owned and operated by corporate enclaves back on Earth, has been determined unprofitable. The last base, Theta, is twenty weeks from being decommissioned. Most of the crew is in stasis awaiting retrieval. Five remain – Roger Bragado-Fischer, Nessa Cheong, Ashwini Ray, Michell L’Anglois, and Wilder.
In Season 1, Roger Bragado-Fischer, Communications, reported to management in a series of official weekly broadcasts. In Season 2, we experience the personal side of the same series of events through each character’s voices – their private journal entries, messages sent to one another and those they care for, so far away. And from that distance, we hear at least one voice in reply.
Join the crew of Moonbase Theta, as well as Roger’s husband Alex from back on Earth, as they reach out to share the beauty, the isolation and frustration, the love and enmity, the humour, and the tragedy, as they all count down to the operation’s end.
